Easily Connect Data Tables In Your Legacy PLC To Tags In Logix Processors
There is no easier way to transfer data between any of your Ethernet based Allen-Bradly PLCs, and your legacy serial Allen-Bradley PLCs! Any of your old, serial PLCs like the PLC5, SLC, or MicroLogix can now provide inputs to a Logix processor and get outputs from a Logix processor.

It’s the perfect tool to keep those old legacy PLCs from the scrap pile and extend their useful life.

How Do I Use the 460ETCDFM in My Application?
For most applications the mapping is very straight forward. PLC file locations (like N7:200 and F9:1) are mapped directly to Tags in your Logix processor.

No message instructions and no ladder is need to transfer the data. The gateway pushes and pulls the data from defined file and tag blocks.

It really is that simple.

Why Use Real Time Automation as a Gateway Supplier?
While there are certainly a number of other companies offering stand alone gateways, there is no one who provides the level of support and service that you receive from RTA.

When you call, a live person answers the phone. When you talk with sales, you will get honest answers and recommendations even if that means recommending someone else’s solution. When you get support, it is from an engineer who had a hand in the product’s development, and support doesn’t require a ticket or 24 hour wait. We are unashamed of the fact that we are a smaller company because that means you mean a lot more to us.

Try the RTA difference today.

What our Customers are Saying

“I challenged a customer to get it working by the time I got back from his break room with a Coke and he indeed had it working when I got back. He then said, "It’s worth twice the price!"”

Eric P. / Kendall Electric

“Everything seems to be working as we imagined. Thanks for the great response time. I did not see any way to save the configuration other than screen shots, but the configuration did not get lost in the update. Thanks again, and you were a pleasure to work with.”

Kevin L. / Extol, Inc.
