Get Your DeviceNet Master Device Connected Directly to Your Building Automation System
The 460DSBMS moves data between a DeviceNet Master and a BACnet MS/TP Building Automation System. With the 460DSBMS you are making a direct connection between DeviceNet data and BACnet MS/TP Binary and Analog objects.

How Do You Map the Data?
Up to 240 bytes of DeviceNet data will be mapped into your BACnet MS/TP Manager. Data will be assigned a type of BIT8, BIT16, BIT32, INT8, INT16, INT32, INT64, UINT8, UINT16, UINT32, UINT64, Float, or Double and be mapped into your BACnet MS/TP Building Automation System as Binary and Analog BACnet MS/TP objects. When writing from your BACnet MS/TP Manager to your DeviceNet Master, up to 1200 analog and 1600 binary and 50 Character String BACnet MS/TP objects will be viewed as DeviceNet data.

It’s really that simple. Need to modify your data as it passes from one protocol to the other? No problem. Each data mapping you apply can be modified with up to 3 mathematic functions. Add 4 to a value, multiply by 4 and divide by 10 with ease.

Why Use Real Time Automation as a Gateway Supplier?
The 460DSBMS provides an option to access DeviceNet Master data without having to upgrade your established BACnet MS/TP system. While there are certainly a number of other companies offering stand alone gateways, there is no one who provides the level of support and service that you receive from RTA.

When you call, a live person answers the phone. When you talk with sales, you will get honest answers and recommendations even if that means recommending someone else’s solution. When you get support, it is from an engineer who had a hand in the product’s development, and support doesn’t require a ticket or 24 hour wait. We are unashamed of the fact that we are a smaller company because that means you mean a lot more to us.

What our Customers are Saying

“I challenged a customer to get it working by the time I got back from his break room with a Coke and he indeed had it working when I got back. He then said, "It’s worth twice the price!"”

Eric P. / Kendall Electric

“Everything seems to be working as we imagined. Thanks for the great response time. I did not see any way to save the configuration other than screen shots, but the configuration did not get lost in the update. Thanks again, and you were a pleasure to work with.”
