The 460TCPA enables data transfer between ASCII RS232, RS422, or RS485 devices and Ethernet TCP/IP connections. With the 460TCPA, you now have a solution to connect ASCII barcode readers, ASCII weigh scales, ASCII printers, and other ASCII devices to your TCP/IP devices.
How Do I Use the 460TCPA-N34 in My Application?
The 460TCPA parses incoming and outgoing ASCII data in TCP/IP packets into data segments and assigns them a data type. These values are then mapped to a TCP/IP device. If your device utilizes delimiters, the 460TCPA can be configured to automatically strip delimiters from incoming messages and reapply delimiters to outgoing messages.
