You can now connect DH+ devices to a Modbus TCP/IP Server. Control a network of 32 Modbus TCP servers from a legacy Allen-Bradley serial PLC. It’s the perfect tool to save legacy PLCs from the scrap pile and control Modbus TCP devices directly from the serial port of PLC5s, SLCs and MicroLogix™.
How Do I Use the 460MCDHM-D2E in My Application?
For most applications, the mapping is very straightforward. Modbus register and coil data is mapped to files in the PLCs data tables. For example, you can map N7:200 to Modbus register 40200 in Modbus server 10. It really is that simple.
