Get Your Modbus TCP/IP Server Devices Connected Directly to the Data Table of Your Allen-Bradley PLC

The 460ETCMC facilitates data transfer between up to 32 Modbus TCP/IP Server devices and up to five different Allen-Bradley PLCs. It simplifies the process, enabling you to utilize the plethora of cost-effective Modbus TCP/IP devices available in your Allen-Bradley PLCs. What’s more, the product, manufactured in the USA, remains consistently in stock and includes a five-year warranty. If you need to connect an Allen-Bradley PLC to a Modbus TCP Server, this gateway offers a great solution.

How Does the Data Move In and Out of the PLC?

It allocates two areas of tags or register blocks in your Allen-Bradley PLC. In one area, you define a set of write-only tags or register blocks that accept data from your Modbus TCP/IP devices. In the other area, you fill it with read-only tags or register blocks to transmit data to your Modbus TCP/IP devices. You directly map Modbus TCP/IP register and coil data into read and write locations in the data table of your Allen-Bradley PLC. It’s truly that simple. Need to modify your data as it passes from one protocol to the other? No problem. You can easily modify each data mapping you apply with up to three mathematical functions. Adding 4 to a value, multiplying by 4, and dividing by 10 are all easily achievable.

Why Use Real Time Automation as a Gateway Supplier?

The 460ETCMC provides an option to access Modbus TCP/IP Server devices without having to upgrade your PLC or get an expensive in-rack solution. While there are certainly other companies offering protocol gateways, there is no one who provides the level of support and service that you receive from Real Time Automation. When you call us, a live person answers the phone. If you talk with our sales team, you will get honest answers and recommendations. And rest assured, all the support you get is from an engineer who had a hand in the product’s development, and support doesn’t need a ticket or 24-hour wait. We get back to you as soon as possible. It’s an RTA promise.

What our Customers are Saying

“I challenged a customer to get it working by the time I got back from his break room with a Coke and he indeed had it working when I got back. He then said, "It’s worth twice the price!"”

Eric P. / Kendall Electric

“Everything seems to be working as we imagined. Thanks for the great response time. I did not see any way to save the configuration other than screen shots, but the configuration did not get lost in the update. Thanks again, and you were a pleasure to work with.”
