Get Your DeviceNet Slave Devices Connected Directly to Your BACnet MS/TP Slave Devices
The 460DMBM moves data between a network of up to 32 DeviceNet Slaves and up to 32 BACnet MS/TP Slave devices. With the 460DMBM you are making a direct connection between DeviceNet data and BACnet MS/TP Binary and Analog objects.
How Do You Map the Data?
Up to 400 bytes of DeviceNet data per Slave device will be mapped into your BACnet MS/TP Slaves. DeviceNet data will be mapped into your BACnet MS/TP Slaves as Binary and Analog BACnet MS/TP objects. When writing from your BACnet MS/TP Slaves to your DeviceNet Slaves, up to 128 Binary BACnet MS/TP Objects per Scan line will be viewed as DeviceNet data.
It’s really that simple. Need to modify your data as it passes from one protocol to the other? No problem. Each data mapping you apply can be modified with up to 3 mathematic functions. Add 4 to a value, multiply by 4 and divide by 10 with ease.
Why use Real Time Automation as a Gateway Supplier?
The 460DMBM provides an option to access DeviceNet Slave devices without having to upgrade your established BACnet MS/TP system. While there are certainly a number of other companies offering stand alone gateways, there is no one who provides the level of support and service that you receive from RTA.
“I challenged a customer to get it working by the time I got back from his break room with a Coke and he indeed had it working when I got back. He then said, "It’s worth twice the price!"”

“Everything seems to be working as we imagined. Thanks for the great response time. I did not see any way to save the configuration other than screen shots, but the configuration did not get lost in the update. Thanks again, and you were a pleasure to work with.”
