Connect EtherNet/IP Adapter Devices to DeviceNet Slave Devices
The 460ECDM moves data between a network of up to 32 DeviceNet Slave devices and an EtherNet/IP network of up to 32 Adapter devices. It’s the perfect tool to tie all of your DeviceNet devices into your EtherNet/IP network.

How Do I Use the 460ECDM in My Application?
Up to 240 bytes of data from your EtherNet/IP Adapters will be mapped into up to 32 DeviceNet Slaves. EtherNet/IP data will be presented to DeviceNet Slaves as DeviceNet data. When writing from your DeviceNet Slaves to your EtherNet/IP Adapters, up to 400 bytes of DeviceNet data will be mapped to up to 32 EtherNet/IP Adapters as EtherNet/IP data.

It’s really that simple. Need to modify your data as it passes from one protocol to the other? No problem. Each data mapping you apply can be modified with up to 3 mathematic functions. Add 4 to a value, multiply by 4 and divide by 10 with ease.

Why Use Real Time Automation as a Gateway Supplier?
The 460ECDM provides an option to connect EtherNet/IP Adapter devices to your network of DeviceNet Slaves. While there are certainly a number of other companies offering stand alone gateways, there is no one who provides the level of support and service that you receive from RTA.

When you call, a live person answers the phone. When you talk with sales, you will get honest answers and recommendations even if that means recommending someone else’s solution. When you get support, it is from an engineer who had a hand in the product’s development, and support doesn’t require a ticket or 24 hour wait. We are unashamed of the fact that we are a smaller company because that means you mean a lot more to us.

What our Customers are Saying

“I challenged a customer to get it working by the time I got back from his break room with a Coke and he indeed had it working when I got back. He then said, "It’s worth twice the price!"”

Eric P. / Kendall Electric

“Everything seems to be working as we imagined. Thanks for the great response time. I did not see any way to save the configuration other than screen shots, but the configuration did not get lost in the update. Thanks again, and you were a pleasure to work with.”

Kevin L. / Extol, Inc.
