The Smart Way To Move EtherNet/IP PLC Data to BACnet/IP
The 460ESBS moves data between a BACnet/IP Client device and an EtherNet/IP PLC. It’s the perfect tool to tie all the data from your factory floor into your Building Automation System.
It’s also a great tool to integrate those EtherNet/IP PLC based HVAC and Boiler machines that seem to pop up in building automation applications. The 460ESBS will make them appear like native BACnet/IP devices.
How Does it Work?
Up to 480 bytes of data from your EtherNet/IP PLC can be mapped to and from BACnet/IP. EtherNet/IP IO data structures are mapped to BACnet/IP analog and binary values.
Need to modify or scale your data as it passes from one protocol to the other? No problem. Each data mapping you apply can be modified with up to 3 mathematic functions. Add 4 to a value, multiply by 4 and divide by 10 with ease.
Why Use Real Time Automation as a Gateway Supplier?
The 460ESBS provides an option to connect EtherNet/IP PLC data on the factory floor to your BACnet/IP Building Automation System. While there are certainly a number of other companies offering stand alone gateways, there is no one who provides the level of support and service that you receive from RTA.
When you call, a live person answers the phone. When you talk with sales, you will get honest answers and recommendations even if that means recommending someone else’s solution. When you get support, it is from an engineer who had a hand in the product’s development, and support doesn’t require a ticket or 24 hour wait. We are unashamed of the fact that we are a smaller company because that means you mean a lot more to us.

What our Customers are Saying
“I challenged a customer to get it working by the time I got back from his break room with a Coke and he indeed had it working when I got back. He then said, "It’s worth twice the price!"”
Eric P. / Kendall Electric
“Everything seems to be working as we imagined. Thanks for the great response time. I did not see any way to save the configuration other than screen shots, but the configuration did not get lost in the update. Thanks again, and you were a pleasure to work with.”
