Get Your EtherNet/IP Scanner Connected Directly to the Data Table of Your Legacy Allen-Bradley PLC
The 460ESETC moves data between an EtherNet/IP Scanner device and up to 5 Allen-Bradley PLCs.
Have a Legacy Allen-Bradley PLC that doesn’t support EtherNet/IP? Move data from your EtherNet/IP Scanner device to low level legacy Allen-Bradley PLCs like the MicroLogix, SLC 505, and PLC 5E.
How Does it Work?
You allocate two areas of register blocks in your Allen-Bradley PLC. One area is a user defined set of write only registers accepting data from your EtherNet/IP device. The other area is full of read only register blocks to send data to your EtherNet/IP device. You directly map EtherNet/IP data into read and write locations in the data table of your Allen-Bradley PLC.
It’s really that simple.
Why use Real Time Automation as a Gateway Supplier?
While there are certainly other companies offering protocol gateways, there is no one who provides the level of support and service that you receive from RTA.
When you call, a live person answers the phone. When you talk with sales, you will get honest answers and recommendations even if that means recommending someone else’s solution. When you get support, it is from an engineer who had a hand in the product’s development, and that doesn’t require a ticket or 24 hour wait. We are unashamed of the fact that we are a smaller company because, that means, you mean more to us.

“I challenged a customer to get it working by the time I got back from his break room with a Coke and he indeed had it working when I got back. He then said, "It’s worth twice the price!"”

“Everything seems to be working as we imagined. Thanks for the great response time. I did not see any way to save the configuration other than screen shots, but the configuration did not get lost in the update. Thanks again, and you were a pleasure to work with.”
