Get Your Modbus TCP/IP Client Device Connected to a Profibus DP Controller
The 460MSPBS moves data between a Modbus TCP/IP Client device and a Profibus Controller device. With the 460MSPBS you are making a direct connection between Modbus TCP/IP Client data and user defined slots in your Profibus device.

How Do You Map the Data?
Modbus TCP/IP Client register and coil data will be mapped into 10 Profibus DP slots. The slots will be assigned a type of Int8, int16, int32, int64, UInt8, Uint16, Uint32, Uint64, float, double, binary8, binary16 or binary32.

When writing from your Profibus Controller to your Modbus TCP/IP device, the data in the slots can be mapped to registers and coils in the Modbus TCP/IP Client.

It’s really that simple. Need to modify your data as it passes from one protocol to the other? No problem. Each data mapping you apply can be modified with up to 3 mathematic functions. Add 4 to a value, multiply by 4 and divide by 10 with ease.
