Real Time Automation Names Industry Veteran Roy Kok Vice President of Sales and Marketing

PEWAUKEE, WI – June 22, 2026 – Real Time Automation (RTA), a long-time leader in industrial protocol gateways, today announced that Roy Kok has joined the company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

A widely recognized industrial automation evangelist, Kok will help guide RTA’s growth strategy and expand awareness of its protocol gateways, data collection and historization solutions and embedded protocol chipsets.

RTA has shipped hundreds of thousands of connectivity solutions for EtherNet/IP, Modbus, PROFINET, BACnet and many other industrial protocols. Kok’s appointment reinforces the company’s commitment to helping OEMs, system integrators and end users solve their most challenging communication and connectivity problems.

Kok brings decades of experience in device connectivity, SCADA, historization and analytics. He most recently served at Mitsubishi Electric, involved with their partner programs, protocol evangelism and SCADA technologies. He previously served as Marketing Director at CESMII – The Smart Manufacturing Institute, headed sales and marketing at Kepware (KEPServerEX) and Ocean Data Systems (Dream Report) and has been a longtime contributor to industry standards efforts, including work with the OPC Foundation.
