Get Ethernet TCP/IP Data Into Your BACnet MS/TP Subordinate Devices
The 460BMTCP moves data between up to 10 Ethernet TCP/IP devices and up to 32 BACnet MS/TP Subordinate devices. It’s a perfect tool to tie Ethernet TCP/IP devices into your BACnet MS/TP Building Automation System.
How Do I Use the 460BMTCP in My Application?
For most applications the mapping is very straight forward. Ethernet TCP/IP packets are mapped to BACnet objects in the BACnet MS/TP Subordinates. BACnet MS/TP data is mapped directly to your Ethernet TCP/IP devices. The only additional piece required for BACnet is adding meta data which is nothing more than an ASCII description of each object. No other deep understanding of either protocol is required to configure the gateway.
It really is that simple.
Why use Real Time Automation as a Gateway Supplier?
The 460BMTCP provides an option to access BACnet MS/TP Subordinate devices without having to upgrade your established Ethernet TCP/IP system. While there are certainly a number of other companies offering stand alone gateways, there is no one who provides the level of support and service that you receive from RTA.
When you call, a live person answers the phone. When you talk with sales, you will get honest answers and recommendations even if that means recommending someone else’s solution. When you get support, it is from an engineer who had a hand in the product’s development, and support doesn’t require a ticket or 24 hour wait. We are unashamed of the fact that we are a smaller company because that means you mean a lot more to us.

What our Customers are Saying
“I challenged a customer to get it working by the time I got back from his break room with a Coke and he indeed had it working when I got back. He then said, "It’s worth twice the price!"”
Eric P. / Kendall Electric
“Everything seems to be working as we imagined. Thanks for the great response time. I did not see any way to save the configuration other than screen shots, but the configuration did not get lost in the update. Thanks again, and you were a pleasure to work with.”
