Get Your Modbus TCP/IP Server Devices Connected to a Modbus RTU Master
The 460MCMRS moves data between up to 32 Modbus TCP/IP Server devices and a Modbus RTU Master device. With the 460MCMRS register and coil data can be freely moved between your Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP/IP networks.
Best of all the product is Made in the USA, is always in stock and comes with a 5 year warranty.
How Do I Use the 460MCMRS in My Application?
To your Modbus TCP/IP Server devices the gateway will act as a Modbus TCP/IP Client. To your Modbus RTU Master device the gateway acts as a Modbus RTU Slave. In the gateway you configure what data it will read from and write from each Server and Master device connection.
In the translation you are able to map register and coil data from any device to any other device connected to the gateway. You could (although unlikely) map data from a single Modbus TCP/IP Server device to 31 other Modbus TCP/IP Server devices, loop data back to the same device and also send data to a Modbus RTU Master device at the same time.
Why Use Real Time Automation as a Gateway Supplier?
The 460MCMRS provides an option to access Modbus TCP/IP devices on your Modbus RTU network. While there are certainly a number of other companies offering stand alone gateways, there is no one who provides the level of support and service that you receive from RTA.
When you call, a live person answers the phone. When you talk with sales, you will get honest answers and recommendations even if that means recommending someone else’s solution. When you get support, it is from an engineer who had a hand in the product’s development, and that doesn’t require a ticket or 24 hour wait. We are unashamed of the fact that we are a smaller company because, that means, you mean more to us.
“I challenged a customer to get it working by the time I got back from his break room with a Coke and he indeed had it working when I got back. He then said, "It’s worth twice the price!"”

“Everything seems to be working as we imagined. Thanks for the great response time. I did not see any way to save the configuration other than screen shots, but the configuration did not get lost in the update. Thanks again, and you were a pleasure to work with.”
