Get Data from a Modbus RTU Master into Your Ethernet TCP/IP Devices
The 460MRSTCP moves data between a Modbus RTU master and an Ethernet TCP/IP system. It’s a simple solution that allows you to pass TCP socket connections data to a Modbus RTU. It allows you to interrupt the ASCII data strings into meaningful data types for use in your controller.
Best of all the product is Made in the USA, is always in stock and comes with a 5 year warranty.
How Do You Map the Data?
Up to 1024 characters of Ethernet TCP/IP can be parsed into up to 50 segments. Each segment can be assigned a data type and then mapped to user defined register or coil locations. Up to 50 segments of data on Modbus can be concatenated together and delivered as string to your TCP/IP device.
It’s really that simple. Need to modify your data as it passes from one protocol to the other? No problem. Each data mapping you apply can be modified with up to 3 mathematic functions. Need to add or remove delimiters between segments, it does that too.
Why Use Real Time Automation as a Gateway Supplier?
The 460MRSTCP provides an option to access Modbus RTU devices without having to upgrade your established Ethernet TCP/IP system. While there are certainly a number of other companies offering stand alone gateways, there is no one who provides the level of support and service that you receive from RTA.
When you call, a live person answers the phone. When you talk with sales, you will get honest answers and recommendations, even if that means recommending someone else’s solution. When you get support, it is from an engineer who had a hand in the product’s development, and support doesn’t require a ticket or 24 hour wait. We are unashamed of the fact that we are a smaller company because that means you mean a lot more to us. Try the RTA difference today!
“I challenged a customer to get it working by the time I got back from his break room with a Coke and he indeed had it working when I got back. He then said, "It’s worth twice the price!"”

“Everything seems to be working as we imagined. Thanks for the great response time. I did not see any way to save the configuration other than screen shots, but the configuration did not get lost in the update. Thanks again, and you were a pleasure to work with.”
