The 460MSBC moves data between a network of up to 32 BACnet/IP Server devices and a Modbus TCP/IP Client. It’s a perfect tool to get your Modbus TCP/IP data tied in with your BACnet/IP devices.

How Do I Use the 460MSBC in My Application?
For most applications the mapping is very straight forward. Modbus register data is mapped to BACnet analog objects and Modbus coil data is mapped to binary objects in BACnet. The only additional piece required for BACnet is adding meta data which is nothing more than an ASCII description of each object. No other deep understanding of either protocol is required to configure the gateway.
